I have been dealing with incont. issues for many years on my own, and have finally decided to join others with the same condition.I really didn't know there was any sort of support untill just recently , so am happy to meet some of you and have read a few posts from others, feel as if i may not feel so alone now. i wish to share support as well as recieve. I'll update my profil as time goes on so as you will get to know a little more about me. still a little afraid at this time though. nice to meet you all!

i am new as well..i am 20 and i have loss of bladder controle becuse of my small blaader.i have bee useing depneds for about 4 months now..its hard trying to let your close friends know about your prolbem....

Amber 231 if they are your close friends they will understand explain the condition first before you let them know about the diapers and be careful who you tell

Hi amber231 & welcome to the site. I am so sure that at the age of 20 & any age for that matter it is difficult to let your friends know of your "illnes"( which really it is or disability)but do not be afraid to do so. What are friends for anyway....they will help you cope.

Welcome Jazz4me.I think you will find our place here quite friendly,we dont have all the answers,and we do have hiccups once in a while.But all in all most here are dealing with this issue,and are really looking to find a cure,or at least a easier way to deal day to day.

im dealing with a prolbem...well im 20 years old im useing brefs with tapes i cant tape them up by my self is there anything i can do to help me with that..

You could always try the pullups. I don't really understand why some people have a problem with the tapes unless they are disabled in other ways. It's easier than learning to tie your shoes. On the other hand, if there is some other physical problem, I don't think it should be too hard to explain it to friends.

try abena abri wings if you have difficulty with small tabs theese should solve your problem they are much easier to put on and take off. They are available at xp medical

I HAVE DISABILITIES TOO WHICH MAKES IT HARD TO PICK UP AND HOLD ON TO THINGS WITH MY FINGERS ON MY RIGHT HAND THAT'S WHY I USE PULL UP'S,I'VE HERD THAT THE
BRIEFS CAN KEEP YOU DRIER SO I PLAN ON TRYING THEM TO SEE IF I CAN HANDLE THEM ON MY OWN.
TRY THE PULL UPS AND SEE IF THEY WORK OUT!

I AM 28 YEARS OLD AND HAVE DEALT WITH INCONTINENCE PROBLEMS ALL MY LIFE. I HAVE BEEN IN AND OUT OF DIAPERS (CURRENTLY AM IN THEM AGAIN) SINCE I WAS A BABY.
