Packaging Project
Oct 28 2009 01:11 PM

I'm a student at Anderson University in South Carolina and I'm working on a branding/packaging project for my Graphic Design class. It would be great if you all could answer a few questions to aid me in my research.

1. Do you purchase incontinence aids online or at the store?

2. Is the package it comes in easily carried? If not, then what improvements would you like to see?

3. When you take the package home, how do you store it? Is it placed in a cabinet? Counter? Also, what is the height at which it is placed?

4. What is your age and gender?

Thank you!

I AM 38 AND I BUY MY DIAPERS AT A GROCERY STORE.
SINCE I USE A WHEEL CHAIR TO GET AROUND LETTING THE PUBLICK KNOW THAT I HAVE BLATTER BROBLUMBS DOSEN'T IMBARISE ME.

I KEEP MY DIAPERS IN MY DRESSER JUST LIKE THE REST OF MY CLLOSE.
I'D BE MORE IMBARREST TO HAVE AN ACCIDENT IN BUBLICK WITH OUT PROTECTION!

Yes I put my depends in a reuseable wal mart bag with the bar code up it would be nice if they had built in handles. I take mine out of the package when I get home and put them in my dresser drawer botom ones.

I purchase online, the packages don't have handles, but since I have them shipped to my house I don't see any need for improvement, stored in a cabinet, and I'm 28/male

1. Do you purchase incontinence aids online or at the store?

Both. I would rather purchase them at the store, but often what I need is not available locally.

2. Is the package it comes in easily carried? If not, then what improvements would you like to see?

Some are, others are not. I question how easy some of the bulky packages without handles are for older folks or people with arthritis or spinal cord damage are to handle.

3. When you take the package home, how do you store it? Is it placed in a cabinet? Counter? Also, what is the height at which it is placed?

I generally place it under the sink in a bathroom cabinet, so if the side can be torn down and the product dispensed (like a 12-pack of soda), it is much easier. Packages that have to be opened from the top are a pain as I have to place them on their side.

4. What is your age and gender?

I am in my late 30s and male.

1. Do you purchase incontinence aids online or at the store?

I typically purchase my supplies on-line but also buy them locally.

2. Is the package it comes in easily carried? If not, then what improvements would you like to see?

The pacages purchased in stores are small and easy to carry. The cases purchased on line come in bigger boxes and OK for me to handle.

3. When you take the package home, how do you store it? Is it placed in a cabinet? Counter? Also, what is the height at which it is placed?

The packages kinda go in one area of the closet. They are usually on the floor out of the way.

4. What is your age and gender?
47/male

1) I buy at the store when on sale and am disappointed that the package size of my Depend product has been reduced, but not the price.
2) Easily carried as the store clerk always puts it into a large plastic bag.
3) Stored under the bathroom sink.
4)I am 69 and a male.

I would like to thank everyone for answering my questions! I really do appreciate it. When I finish the project I'll post a link to my blog with it on there if you are all interested to see what I've done.

Thanks again!
