DEPEND® Guards for Men are designed to fit a man's body comfortably and provide light to moderate protection for bladder control problems.

Important Tips

  • Make sure you wear snug-fitting briefs underwear (not boxer shorts).
  • Clean your groin and buttocks thoroughly after removing a soiled guard.
  • Dispose of soiled guards in a sanitary manner. Do not flush.
  • Wash hands after handling soiled guards.
  • Do not get powder, lotion or oil on adhesive strip. These substances may cause the strip not to stick properly.
  • Seek professional advice from your physician or health care professional if you or someone you care for is experiencing bladder control problems.
Male Guards

Applying DEPEND® Guards For Men To Your Body

Identify the inside and outside of the product.

  • The inside has a blue absorbent layer and is placed against your skin.
  • The outside has a paper strip covering an adhesive area and is placed against the underwear.

Identify the front and back of the product.

  • The back of the guard cups your testicles.
  • The arrows on the paper strip on the outside of the guard point to the front of the guard.

Place the guard against your body so the back side cups your testicles. Be sure that your penis is pointing down into the center of the guard.

Peel the paper strip off to expose the adhesive strip on the outside of the guard, away from your skin.

While holding the guard in place, pull form-fitting underwear over the guard and into place. Make sure you wear snug-fitting briefs underwear (not boxer shorts).

Secure guard by gently pressing underwear fabric against adhesive strip. Make sure underwear is pulled up snugly.
